Cue up some John Mellencamp, as Banks is a small town. Big enough to have its own schools and fire department, but small enough to avoid any big box stores. Banks is home to a small speedway and the southern terminus of the Banks-Vernonia State Trail. It also makes for a good pit stop on the way to Tillamook. Located where Oregon 6 and Oregon 47, it is just north of Forest Grove and near Roy.
