Dundee

Well known for the Dundee merge between Dundee and Newberg, where Oregon 99W shrinks to one lane west/southbound on the way to Lafayette and McMinnville, that traffic nightmare may finally be coming to an end with the construction of the long awaited Newberg-Dundee Bypass. Long-term, the residents may end up lamenting the bypass, as traffic will surely drop as people going from Portland to the Oregon Coast will likely skip the wine themed commercial district. Lastly, yes, it is named for the place in Scotland, which is the fourth most populous in Scotland (Dundee, Oregon, is only the fifth largest in the county).
