The namesake for the eponymous road, Farmington is little more than a crossroads at this point between Hazeldale/Aloha and Hillsboro or Scholls and Hillsboro if taking the backroads from say Sherwood. Centered on the intersection of River Road and Farmington Road, it is also has a bridge over the Tualatin River. The main attraction is the Cruise In country Diner at what can be a frustratingly long four-way stop. Oddly, despite the name, Hillsboro’s Farmington View elementary is not really in Farmington.​
