Gales Creek

 

 

 

Named after the eponymous stream that flows by, this community has fallen on hard times. The school closed, the store burned down, and the fire department has a hard time finding volunteers. Gales Creek is along Oregon 8 west of Forest Grove south of the western terminus of Oregon 8 at Oregon 6.
