While this farming community has a Hillsboro zip code, they fought tooth and nail a decade ago to not get absorbed by its neighbor to the south. The historic community is tucked into the rolling hills of the Tualatin Mountains north of U.S. 26, not really on the way to anywhere. It boasts both the Helvetia Tavern and its famous burgers, as well as the Roloff Farm.​
