This community between Tigard and Beaverton is not named after the white supremacist Tom Metzger. Instead it is named after Herman Metzger who platted the area more than a hundred years ago. Garden Home is to the north, and Portland to the east. The only real business district consists of a few stores along Hall Boulevard between Washington Square and Tigard.
