Rock Creek

 

 

 

Similar to Reedville, Rock Creek is a census designated place split between the Beaverton and Hillsboro school districts. The community is directly north of Hillsboro’s Tanasbourne area on the other side of U.S. 26, largely wedged between Cornelius Pass Road and 185th Avenue. West Union Road forms the northern border. Speaking of West Union, it lies to the west, and used to be the school district serving the western portion of Rock Creek.

 

The community consist largely of houses, but does have a golf course and a pair of elementary schools. It also has Rock Creek (the stream) flowing by, hence the name. There are also several parks, one of which connects under the Sunset Highway to Hillsboro’s Rock Creek Trail.
