Tigard

With just over 50,000 residents, Tigard comes in a distant third after Beaverton and Hillsboro in the county rankings for population. And it likely will not grow rapidly again as it is a bit hemmed in by Portland, Beaverton, Durham, King City, and Tualatin. Annexing Bull Mountain, as it tried to in 2006, would help it expand, but that seems unlikely to happen.

While third in population, it is home to the tallest building in the county, one of the towers at Lincoln Center near Metzger and Washington Square. Tigard benefits from its location along major freeways and roads, such as Interstate 5, Oregon 217, Oregon 99W, and Oregon 210. In fact, the intersection of 99W and Warner Avenue, which is just west of the 217 interchange, is the 26th most dangerous intersection in Oregon.

If you live in 97223, then you know you probably live in Tigard and not Portland, despite what the post office says. Well, whether you live in that Zip Code or 97224 or 97281, Stevens & Legal can help you with personal injury issues, a wrongful death case, employment law questions, and we can also serve as your registered agent, among other legal services.
